If you’re going to pay to place your logo somewhere, it needs to be somewhere that people won’t miss it.
Years back, a company I worked for had the opportunity to sponsor a racing car. We only had a tiny space on the car for our logo, which could only just be seen in photographs of the car when it was stationary. When the car was in motion, the logo couldn’t be seen at all (and as for the website URL beneath it – not a hope in hell).
If I was going to pay to have my logo placed anywhere today, I’d choose an area that people’s eyes would be automatically drawn to.
Like this. And specifically in the spot the chap is pointing to… what do you think? :D
(Although this photo is doing the rounds on Facebook – minus the debbidoo logo – with the man’s face clearly visible, I thought it fair to blur his face out here. I don’t know the original source of the photo; if it’s yours, please let me know and I’ll credit you).
